Updates on Digital Accessibility at the Faculty of Tourism

Posted: 13.11.2024| Category:

We would like to inform you that the employees of the Faculty of Tourism are once again available through their official email addresses, which are listed on our website. Additionally, other digital services are being gradually restored. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding in the past weeks.

Moodle Online Classroom

The Moodle online classroom is also available and can be accessed through the same link (https://estudij.um.si/), using the same login credentials (digital identity).

Additional Information:

  • Moodle is available as of the morning of October 23, 2024, and is operational for use.
  • Currently, it is functioning with certain limitations (similarity checking is disabled, LTI integration and email are not available).
  • Other activities necessary for Moodle’s regular operation are ongoing, so temporary interruptions in service are possible.
  • Slow performance is expected at this time, and we kindly ask you not to submit support requests for this matter.

Eduroam

The Eduroam network is once again available in the Faculty of Tourism's premises (this may not apply to other university units). However, the connection no longer works automatically, and configuration via an app or configurator is required for setup.

The configuration process is as follows:

  1. Select the appropriate connection below and download the app.
  2. After downloading, launch the app.
  3. Choose the institution: University of Maribor.
  4. Log in with your digital identity (name.surname@student.um.si and password).
  5. If the app requests certain permissions, approve them.
  6. The connection will be established.
