RESEARCH FIELD
I am living proof that tourism is an interdisciplinary field, as I combine the fields of American Studies, English language, journalism, and literature. In my research work, I connect tourism with communication, the English language, rhetoric, literature, and culture. Within the framework of my home faculty and international research networks (CEEPUS-TRANS, TULE, ATLAS), I operate in both local and international environments. However, one of my favorite tasks is still teaching and collaborating with students on various projects. I publish in various scientific and professional journals in the fields of tourism, interdisciplinary studies, humanities, and pedagogy, and I am the author of several books. My latest book is on travel writing, published by Routledge, and it is one of the results of research and pedagogical collaboration with the University of Plymouth.

TEACHING APPROACH
Diversity enriches us, even when it comes to teaching. Because students are different, I strive to use a wide range of approaches and methods, from traditional methods to research-based, creative, and project-based learning, as well as flipped teaching. I believe that hard work, responsibility, encouragement, and a positive attitude bring success, growth, and satisfaction. And of course, not an apple, but a good dose of humor a day keeps the doctor away.
