Mojca has been involved in lexicography for more than 15 years. She has published 4 specialised dictionaries, among them is also the first Slovene dictionary of abbreviations. Currently an extensive Slovene dictionary of abbreviations is in preparation. Her research interests include bilingualism, language acquisition, translation, tourism, and LSP. The results of her research have been published in national and international journals and by prominent publishing houses, e.g. Jezikoslovnih zapiskih, Suvremena lingvistika, Lexikos, Elsevier, Peter Lang. She has published 4 scientific and 3 professional monographs. Mojca is also actively involved in research projects. She has been project leader of 4 research projects, and she is currently involved in 2 projects, namely the preparation of a Slovene dictionary of abbreviations and a professional monograph. She actively participates in national and international conferences.
From 2016 up until 2019 she was the Slovenian project leader of the project CUSHA (Erasmus plus), in 2018 and 2019 she was project leader of the project Digitization and Accessibility of Vocabulary Resources (Ministry of Culture), from 2018 up until 2020 she was project leader of the bilateral project Bilingualism in Slovene and Croatian Istria on the example of translations of administrative texts (ARRS), in 2019 she obtained the funding for the project LanGuide (Erasmus plus). From 2019 up until 2021, she is project leader of 2 internal projects at FVV.
