International Conference TEDU26

The Faculty of Tourism, University of Maribor invites researchers, tourism professionals and practitioners to the TEDU26 – Wine and Heritage: Tourism Between Tradition and Innovation, an international scientific and professional conference taking place 23–25 September 2026 in Brežice, Slovenia.
The conference is organised within the InterWine project and will explore the connections between wine, cultural heritage and tourism innovation, focusing on how traditional wine cultures interact with contemporary tourism development, digital transformation and sustainable destination management.
The programme will bring together researchers, heritage professionals, tourism experts, destination managers and winemakers to exchange knowledge and discuss new approaches to wine tourism and heritage interpretation.
The conference will feature keynote lectures by Marianna Sigala and Emanuela Panke, addressing current developments in wine tourism, cultural heritage, digital transformation and innovation in tourism.
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit abstracts (up to 500 words) presenting research objectives, methodology, main findings and relevance to the conference themes.
