Winter examination period

Dear students.

In the next week, you will start the winter examination period. As we already informed you last week, the exams will be conducted live and online.

We will mark in the AIPS the type of each examination (live or online) at the end of the applications in due time (i.e., 7 days before the examination). Hence, the exam period will not be entirely online, so please plan to take some exams live on the Campus.

Dear students,

Given the current epidemiological situation, the pedagogical process will be held online from 17.1. to 21.1.2022. If any of the professors decide to take the lecture online this week (tomorrow or Friday), we will update the timetable and inform you by email.

The assistants will notify you about the implementation of fieldwork.

Monday, 24.1.2022, is the start of the examination period, which will be conducted online as much as possible. All oral examinations will be held online, whereas the written exams depend on the nature of the lectures. The professors will decide this, and it will also be marked in the AIPS in due time

On Friday, 17 December 2021, we celebrated the day of the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Maribor and awarded prizes to the best in the last academic year 2020/21.

On Friday, 17 December 2021, the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Maribor celebrated the 12th anniversary. On this occasion of the Faculty Day, we award recognitions and prizes to the previous academic year's best students, graduates, and pedagogues. After a one-year absence and last year's online event, this year's award ceremony was held live again in the lobby of the Faculty of Tourism in Brežice. The Dean, Assoc. prof. dr. Boštjan Brumen addressed the present winners and expressed pride and confidence in the best students of the previous year. Together with the presented photos and the accompanying words of the event host, Assist. Barbara Pavlakovič looked back at the journey and achievements of the past academic year, which was marked mainly by the online implementation of the study process, numerous online events and research achievements.

Recipients of this year's awards for the best students in the academic year 2020/21 are:

Dear students,

The Student Council of the Faculty of Tourism organises a pre-Christmas trip to Zagreb.

We are preparing a short programme for the participants, However, as we know you are students, we won't torture you too much with tours, but you will be able to enjoy the delights and charms of Zagreb on your own.

👉Departure from Brežice: in the afternoon (scheduled at 15h)

👉Return to Brežice: in the evening/night

👉Price: 10€/participant (the amount must be paid before departure to guarantee your place on the bus, if you apply and then change your mind, you will still be charged the 10€ registration fee). The money will be collected by student representatives (contacts will be provided in the next week).
