Faculty of Tourism University of Maribor is organizing an international scientific conference Hand in Hand (HiH): Active Leisure, Healthy Lifestyle, and Sports Tourism. The conference will take place in Brežice, Slovenia, on Monday, the 27th of May, and Tuesday, the 28th of May. The conference is part of the Hand in Hand (HiH) project, aimed at promoting participation in sports and physical activity, particularly in support of the Council's recommendation on HEPA, "EU Physical Activity Guidelines," and "The Tartu Call for a Healthy Lifestyle."

The purpose of the international scientific conference Hand in Hand (HiH): Active Leisure, Healthy Lifestyles, and Sports Tourism is to bring together leading researchers and experts to exchange their experiences and research findings on issues related to sports, well-being, health, and the role of local communities in planning and policies. The conference will provide an interdisciplinary forum for researchers and educators to discuss the latest research and trends, as well as challenges and examples of good practices in promoting health and well-being, sports and sports tourism, and the involvement of local communities.

Fakulteta za turizem Univerze v Mariboru bo v ponedeljek, 27. maja, in torek, 28. maja, v Brežicah organizirala mednarodno znanstveno konferenco Hand in Hand (HiH): Aktivno preživljanje prostega časa, zdrav življenjski slog in športni turizem. Konferenca poteka v okviru projekta Hand in Hand (HiH), čigar namen je spodbujanje udeležbe v športu in telesni dejavnosti, zlasti s podporo priporočila Sveta o HEPA, »EU Physical Activity Guidelines« in »The Tartu Call for a Healthy Lifestyle«.

Namen mednarodne znanstvene konference Hand in Hand (HiH): Aktivno preživljanje prostega časa, zdrav življenjski slog in športni turizem je združiti vodilne raziskovalce in strokovnjake, ki si bodo izmenjali svoje izkušnje in rezultate raziskav o vprašanjih športa, dobrega počutja in zdravja ter vloge lokalnih skupnosti pri načrtovanju in politik. Konferenca bo zagotovila interdisciplinarni forum za raziskovalce in pedagoge, ki bodo razpravljali o najnovejših raziskavah in trendih, pa tudi o izzivih ter primerih dobrih praks na področju promocije zdravja in dobrega počutja, športa oz. športnega turizma in vključevanja lokalne skupnosti.
