Within the scope of regular research work, the Faculty of Tourism is looking for connections with tourism economy, thus turning theory into practice. Scientific research places our faculty in a wider scientific research area, where we wish to sovereignly co-create theories and knowledge in the before mentioned fields. Our findings are published in the form of scientific and expert research works, which enrich national and foreign tourist expert and scientific world.

The cooperation of students
All of the students at our faculty are intensely involved in our research work. In this way we enable them to get insights into research and development work and in many instances link local environments and companies with capable, tourism-loving young people who present our future strength. All students who are interested in such work are especially welcome to write us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are in a process of intense building of research network, international projects and organising research visits. Numbers of our researchers visiting other research institutes abroad are increasing, and so are the numbers of foreign researchers visiting our institute. Every year, we take part in organization of an annual international conference TAD – TOURISM AND DEVELOPMENT, which is organised in cooperation with our partner faculties, TIMS from Serbia and LIBERTAS from Croatia (more information at: http://www.tad-conference.com/).
